ODOT Urges Oregonians to Stay Home as Winter Storm Develops
Salem, OR - The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is urging Oregonians to stay home as a significant winter storm is expected to impact the state starting Thursday, January 5, 2023. Heavy snow, strong winds, and freezing temperatures are forecast, making travel extremely dangerous.
"This storm has the potential to be very dangerous," said ODOT Director, Kris Strickler. "We are urging everyone to avoid unnecessary travel and stay home if possible."
